Claudia Galvan

Claudia Galvan is the founder of Heart's Connections. She is an author, counselor, and a community mentor. She grew up in Miami and now lives in San Antonio with her husband and her four children. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a master's degree in social work. She acquired two bachelor's degrees, one in Sociology at the University of Texas RGV and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a specialization in child development. She is a combat veteran and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. She helps veterans and their families undertake personal development programs, counseling, and business ventures. Claudia offers mentoring to high school and college students.


Claudia actively participates in radio programs that promote the well-being of children, community entrepreneurship in small businesses, and education. She provides social, emotional, and spiritual support for children, youth, and families through various forms of expressive art. It is her mission to create awareness about the importance of mental health care and to invite clients to explore creativity in different areas of life to achieve objectives and goals that can transform an individual's life.

Hearts Connections is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to community service, focusing on education and mental, emotional & spiritual health. They serve young people and families through art programs to strengthen relationships and establish strong bonds between families and their communities.
