The choice food pantry allows our clients seeking food assistance to choose for themselves what products they receive. This service is by appointment only. Sign up is the last Tuesday of every month from 11:00-1:00pm. Please understand it fills up weeks in advance and may require being on a waiting list. Every Monday* from 11:20am-1:40pm by appointment ONLY

Open Food Pantry

West Avenue Compassion distributes food weekly to those who have difficulty purchasing enough to avoid hunger. Please see the income guidelines below. New clients must bring a photo id and proof of residency (i.e. lease, CPS or SAWS bill). Various job listings, from healthcare to retail, are also available to look at. Clothing Pantry

Every Tuesday 11:00-12:45

Our pantry is stocked with gently used and new clothing items such as pants/shorts, shirts, sweaters, coats, dresses, socks and shoes. We carry a variety of clothing for men, women, and children. Depending on the supply, families can receive 5-10 articles of clothing each week. Senior Distribution/Drive Thru Only.

West Avenue Compassion provides the opportunity for individuals ages 60 and over to participate in two food distributions each month. On the 1st Thursday of each month at 10:00am, seniors that qualify can receive Project Hope and Commodities. For more information please call 210-573-2847
