Strong Foundation is a non-denominational faith-based 501(c)(3) organization. We help people get back on their feet, emotionally, financially and spiritually. We offer a place to live as well as food and clothing to families in need, and we continue to seek God’s direction for the ministry.

On December 29, 2003, God gave us the Strong Foundation Family Mission Center. The Family Mission Center is a former nursing home. When we tried to buy it, the asking price was way out of reach for the ministry. God put it on the owner’s heart to donate the building to us and on Christmas Eve 2003, the former owner called and said, “Merry Christmas, I am going to give you the building”. He flew into San Antonio on the 29th and signed the building over to the ministry. It appraised for $516,000. Praise God, He did what we could never do! We opened on February 13, 2004 and since then God has sent us hundreds of families that have needed help. We typically have 60-70 people living on site consisting of up to 16 families. It’s not uncommon for more than half of our population to be children. Seeds are being planted; lives are being changed. Thank you Lord for using us the way You are.
