Michelle Arredondo
Michelle Arredondo has a juvenile and adult prison record and stated it is very difficult to get your education and find a job and that is why she started Steadfast Sparrows. She wants to help both adults and youth after incarceration. After serving her time, Michelle got her high school diploma, went to college and got her associate degree, then her bachelor's and master's degree from Our Lady of The Lake university.
She got approved by the Texas Department of Criminal Justise to enter and meet with prisoners' and be a part of the Kolbe Prison Ministries team. When we meet with inmates, we are trying to develop an honest relationship with them. We share resources that will be available to them when they get out. We want to introduce them to employment and education opportunities.
We provide resume building, free transportation passes, special educations services if the need their high school diploma. When they come into our organization, they are evaluated for their strengths and weaknesses. We have individuals who want to become welders or may want to become a cook, so we help them get their certifications and achieve their goals. We help them get into college if they want to get a degree. For more information, visit
