Our programs are based on the "Community Strong" concept - founded around the notion of healthy interdependence and the knowledge that we are built for community. Together, our Locals are launching a revolutionary initiative that provides adults with differing abilities the opportunity to make an enormous impact in the city of San Antonio and around the world. We believe that "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" should not be exclusively for “neurotypicals”. Everyone has the right to pursue their dreams and fulfill their God lead passions. Whether it be as City Locals, at the Southwind Local Society, or the upcoming Southwind Fields Tiny Home Community, we are committed to authentic community and a healthy interdependence that allow for our Locals’ highest level of independence.
