Ginger Treanor

Ginger is a native San Antonian and began her insurance career over 45 years ago. The last 15 years of her career were spent at Marsh McClennan Agency in the capacity of Assistant Vice President, Account Executive/Business Insurance.


Her passion is bringing awareness to the community about the Fentanyl pandemic. Speaking in schools, various events, DEA Parent Fentanyl Opioid Summit at Texas State University, and the Bexar County Behavioral Health and Wellness Conference this year. She launched the first Fentanyl Awareness Walk at Brooks City Base; Soles Walking for Souls.


2018 to 2020 She volunteered with S.A.P.D. Hope Team, restoring I.D.'s for the homeless, started a Homeward Bound ministry in her Church, led the Faith Based Ministry for Hunger & Homelessness in district 3, and started the Convening of the Faith Based Ministries to unite, collaborate, and communicate with others helping the homeless.

She serves on SAVOAD (San Antonio Voluntary Organizations) active in disaster relief. She has led the following walks in her church under the team; Brookhill Holy Walkers, Relay for Life Cancer, Alzheimer’s, NAMI and Suicide Out of Darkness Walk. Upon departing from Marsh in 2018, she has found ways to serve others in her volunteer work by becoming a Senior Ordained Chaplain under the I.F.O.C. She is Chaplain to 30-35 girls seeking recovery from their addiction each Sunday during Sunday School.


She created a non-profit this year; ONE PILL KILLS The Brooke Keith Commission, in honor of her daughter Brooke whom passed from Fentanyl Poisoning in 2021, 2 days out of rehab. She will be celebrating her 45th Wedding Anniversary to Pastor Aaron Treanor of Brookhill Baptist Church, later this year.
