Imagine trying to survive on $800 to pay for rent, utilities, groceries, medications, etc. Did you know that the elderly are limited in what they can purchase with food stamps? Some excluded items, that can be expensive, are medicines, vitamins, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, detergent, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, pet food, etc.
Who Qualifies for King’s Compassion?
- Age 65 and older
- Federal Poverty Level Income (2023: One $1337 / Two $1808)
- Residing in one of the following current zip codes: 78201, 78202, 78203, 78204, 78205, 78207, 78210, 78211, 78212, 78225, 78226, 78228, 78237, & 78238
