Mission: Our mission is to facilitate charitable, educational, and faith-based services in under-served communities by assisting men, women, children, and formerly incarcerated persons with finding housing, enrolling in literacy programs, and obtaining employment skills that lead to a better quality of life.
Housing Services
We provide affordable housing for women in transition, including the formerly incarcerated. Women and children can stay for one year, are equipped with resources and prepared for independent living. Currently, we do not provide transitional housing for men.
Job Progam
We work with clients and organizations to aid in career development, searches and placement opportunities.
Mentoring
Mentoring Big Brothers is a man-to-man mentoring program which is designed to match mentees with positive male mentors that can relate to their situation and connect them to resources. The men in our program are between 18-25. Most are currently on bond or probation. Persons who had a mentor to provide guidance were most likely to succeed, get a job, and adhere to formal intervention programs.
We provide the following classes: Anger Management, Shoplifting, Drug Offender, and Cognitive Behavior
Food Pantry
Our goal is to provide a balanced distribution of food to families in time of need. We are partnered with the San Antonio Food Bank to accomplish this goal. We distribute food to the community on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each Month.
