Vision: FREED Texas was born out of a great need to address the multi-dimensional needs of an individual as they strive to reintegrate into a society that has discounted formerly incarcerated people as citizens.

Our Mission

  1. Family Restoration with a concentration on the cycle of generational trauma
  2. Dismantle stigma surrounding formerly incarcerated individuals.
  3. Communal advocacy surrounding policy initiatives aimed at achieving justice for individuals who are currently incarcerated.
  4. Education about the Prison System (parole, probation, direct impacts of being incarcerated, etc…)
  5. Employment and networking opportunities for individuals who are seeking re-entry following incarceration.
