Blessed Sacrament Academy is a San Antonio nonprofit serving children, teens and families through early childhood education, high school programs and family-centered support. The Child Development Center provides full-day care and early childhood education for children from 6 weeks old through Pre-K. Children learn in safe, nurturing classrooms through play-based and hands-on activities including art, music, movement, sensory exploration and outdoor learning. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided throughout the day.

Early childhood programming helps children develop social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills while preparing preschool-age children for kindergarten. Families may have access to both subsidized child care and tuition-based enrollment options. For older students, Por Vida Academy provides an alternative high school option for young people who need a different pathway toward earning their diploma. Students can pursue traditional graduation or credit recovery through smaller classes, individualized educational plans, mentorship and flexible support.

Por Vida Academy also helps students prepare for life after high school through career exploration, college guidance and partnerships with families. Located on Mission Road on San Antonio’s South Side, Blessed Sacrament Academy works to provide children and young people with safe learning environments, educational opportunities and the support they need to build stronger futures.
